Blooming Spring?

Goodness, isn't it cold for May?
We haven't had rain yet today though so hopefully the weather is set to improve.

When the sun does shine, I'm hoping to make use of this beauty. I bought this gorgeous number on eBay. I'm a huge fan of eBay.

There are very few flowers in my garden at the moment. Everything is very lush and green, thanks to the rain, but the flowers are late.

The Auriculas are stunning.
However, our Wisteria has flowered for the first time ever this year. Just one flower, but what a beauty.

And this dashing chap paid a fleeting visit the other morning.

I couldn't get close enough to take a decent picture but I was very pleased to see his colourful presence.

  2. Hi Kath,
Yes, he/she was stunning. It was there for quite a while too but the minute I tried to get a closer picture, it flew away. Hopefully, it will be back.
The sun is shining here now, I may have to get the deckchair out!
    Take care,

    1. Hi Penny,
Yes, trapped little fingers could be a problem. I wonder is that why they put those plastic fittings on the modern deckchairs?
And it is very hot here now too. Summer at last :D

  4. I have a couple of dusty deckchairs in an outhouse in Cornwall begging for a makeover. That is one of my Summer holiday projects (chalk paint in hand). Lovely post.... thank goodness the weather has turned. Helen, Darcy and Bingley xxx

This sunshine is glorious, isn't it! I'm getting quite used to the fine weather now :)
